Four Steps to a Great Web
Site - Step 1
The FIRST step in a
great Web site is to have a powerful tool to design it with.
I have
been doing this since 1994, and I can tell you that I've used just about every
Web design tool in the known universe, and finally (in 2004) decided that
Microsoft's Front Page was the easiest, most powerful WYSIWYG HTML editor - and
that is what finally led to the creation of this site and a dozen others I've
done.
Every
piece of software has its strong and weak points - but Front Page has the most
and the least, respectively of anything I've used. Well worth the modest cost,
MS-Front Page is far and above anything I've tried - and I haven't even
scratched the surface of its capabilities (I believe in keeping it simple).
The
KEYWORDS you use in your Web page are very important to your site rankings in
the search engines. If you do not pay attention to this step, the next 3 steps
will not be nearly as effective. Keep your keywords relevant to the topic in the
main body of the page, and don't over-do it.
