MEMORIAL WEEKEND 2005 I met these fine gentlemen on Saturday May 29, 2005 as we were riding the subway from Grand Central Station NYC. Thank You for your service to our country, guys! We didn't get much of a chance to talk on the short subway ride, but I did leave them with flyers for this web site, and a copy of the poem "Reflections" from my book "Land of Childhood's Fears" (the sailor in the Navy jacket is holding a copy, right).
