Kirlian photography - Experimenter's Guide

This set of schematics were compiled in 1980 - before the advent of the Personal Computer. Eight years later, IBM PCs were running DOS - and so these diagrams were completely hand done.

These schematics were used to build working equipment, and then left on the shelf and forgotten for 27 years. However, there are dozens of diagrams such as this one - that teach you how to build everything from a small high-frequency unit (Kirlian camera) to a MONSTER ZAPPER that produces 50,000,000 Volts and sparks over a foot long.

This technology is not for the timid, as these machines are serious business with outputs several thousand times what it would take to KILL you. However, carefully handled, the photographs even the "shoestring" devices can produce are both unique and breathtaking.

Above is a thumbnail sample of two of the schematics included in this archive. They range from the ultra-simple to the more complex, higher voltage units. The diagrams were drawn circa 1981 with professional drafting equipment (before PCs were invented), and these are electronic copies of those diagrams - they are very neatly done, and clearly label all components and component values. All of the components required to build these units are readily available. The diagrams will come to you as a single .Zip file, which will extract into 20 .JPG files which are electronic photocopies that you can display on-screen and print with your printer. These schematics when followed properly, yield working equipment, and I can tell you from personal experience that they produce absolutely fantastic and breathtaking photographs.
