Reading bedtime stories to children is one of the finer pleasures of life our modern society seems to have forgotten. Your book rekindled that tradition in our family. Thank you - We can't wait for Volume II". - Via E-mail - Terry S. - Albequerque, NM
"My 8 year-old daughter loves me to read "Entertaining Angels" with her. She particularly liked the story "The Lone Ranger Goes Camping". She laughed for a few minutes, then went peacefully to sleep. You have an open style that kids instantly relate to. I was particularly fond of "All Expenses Paid" - a very good analogy to teach children about what Jesus Christ died for on the cross. Bless you, Pastor Dave".
"What a refreshing change from Harry Potter, and that demonic brainwashing! Ever since I gave my 7 year-old nephew a copy of Entertaining Angels for his birthday, his interests have changed. Yesterday he asked me if I could get him more books like that. Thanks Pastor Dave and God bless you". -Via E-mail - Paul D. - Hammonton, NJ
"Your book "Entertaining Angels" is very nicely done. My 9 year-old daughter goes to public school, and they teach the kids about 'evolution'. After reading your book, she openly challenged her teacher and told her that "Evolution is a religion", and "I'm a child of God". Needless to say that created quite a stir. I'm trying to raise my children as Christians, and your book is a wonderful tool to help me validate the values and truths I am trying to teach them". You did a wonderful job. Kudos to you and God prosper your little ministry; we need more literature for kids like this." - Via Phone Call - Sharon K. - Salt Lake City, UT
"I just wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how much our family enjoys your book "Entertaining Angels". We have been blessed with two lovely children, Kevin 9, and Rachael, 6. My husband and I started to read to them after we saw your articles on the Internet. We ordered "Entertaining Angels" for them, and downloaded your sermons. You did a wonderful job on the book. My son really likes the story "The Real Captain Hook", because my husband really hams it up when he tells it. My daughter likes "A Parable For A Father". Since we started reading to the kids at bedtime, we don't have to scold them to go to bed - they eagerly await it, and now we spend quality time together instead of being glued to that stupid Boob Tube. Your book, and your suggestion to read bedtime stories to our kids, has enhanced our relationship with them. Bless you, Pastor T". Via E-mail - Doreen & Ken W - Philadelphia, PA

Have you ever been out in the woods camping for a few days? If you have, you probably were amazed at some of the things you saw. In the sky especially if you look when the moon is dark, you can see so many stars, that it is impossible to count them all. You know what a star really is? It is a sun, just like the sun outside in the daytime; only it is very, very far away. Some stars are much bigger than our own sun, and some lights in the sky that look like one star, are really a lot of stars called a galaxy. A galaxy can have billions of stars in it, but it is so far away that without a telescope, it looks like just one star. You can go to library and get books on astronomy, which will show you all about stars, and plants, and outer space. You can also find lots of stuff on the Internet. In the woods and forests, everything is alive. There are trees, and flowers, bugs and berry bushes, deer, and bears, fish and snakes, bees and birds, and all sorts of living things. In school we study a subject called science. The Word science comes from the Greek word scio which means, to know. Science studies something in order to know about it. Each thing we study has a name; for example, the study of the stars is called astronomy, and the people who do that are called astronomers. The study of woods and wildlife is called forestry, and the people who study about it are called foresters or forest rangers. There are thousands of things that you can study, and no one has ever learned everything there is to know, so I can promise you that as long as you want to know something; as long as you're curious about yourself and the world around you, you'll never, ever be bored not even for a minute! When we study something, we must be careful that what we are studying is true. In order to see if something is true or not, we have to ask questions, and sometimes do an experiment to see if what we believe about something, really works in the real world. I will give you a simple example: Suppose you had an apple, and an iron ball that was the same size as the apple. The iron ball is much heavier than apple right? So if you held them at the same height, and dropped them at the same time, you might think that because the iron ball is heavier, that it would fall faster, and hit the ground first right? If you said yes, you would be wrong. Your thinking about what would happen is called a theory. If you said that the iron ball would fall faster than the apple, your theory would be wrong, and if you actually do the experiment, you can prove it to yourself. The apple, and the iron ball, which is much heavier than the apple, fall to the ground at the same speed, and will hit the ground at the same time. And so science has to have experiments to prove if the theories of that science are really true, or if the theories are just something that people only think is true. I have to tell you that I love science! When I was your age in school, I always, always got As in science, so I can tell you truthfully, that some of the stuff that people will try to teach you, is really not science at all, but they will tell you that it is science, and that it is true, and they will try to make you believe it, but you should know that it's a lie. What I'm talking about is the theory of Evolution or Darwin's theory. Some schools will try to tell you that human beings you and me came from cavemen and monkeys. They will try to tell you that the world the whole universe all the stars, the planets, the animals, birds, trees, fish, bugs, and even human beings, just happened by accident a long, long time ago. Don't you believe it for a minute! It is not true, and what's worse, the people who are trying to get you to believe it, really don't believe it themselves. I want to tell you my dear friend, something very, very important, and you should remember this whenever someone tries to tell you something that you know isn't true: In order to be able to believe a lie, first, you have to stop believing the truth. And once you stop believing the truth, it is possible that you will believe anything. This world, and everything in it, did not happen by any Big Bang or by accident billions or trillions of years ago. That theory is not science it's a big lie. The Bible tells us: In the beginning God made from nothing, the heavens and the earth. [1] This is another way of saying God made the universe and the earth out of nothing. Even the scientists will tell you that the whole universe came from nothing and that before this Big Bang, there wasn't even empty space if you can imagine that, but what they won't say is God did it. They say, It was an accident. Really? Now they have to face the truth, because it is obvious that even a bug is so complicated, that it had to be designed, and a design or a plan needs to have someone to do the designing and planning. God did it. That's the truth! The Bible is God's own words, and if someone tells you that what the Bible says isn't true, he's calling God liar, and we know that God can't lie. God tells us: Faith is being sure we get what we hope for. It is being sure of what we cannot see... by faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made of what was visible .[2] Again, my little friend, Ill tell you the truth. I don't know, and nobody can really prove if there really was a Big Bang that created the universe or not. Science can only prove so much, and from what Stephen Hawking, who is the smartest scientist in the world tells us, it appears that something like the Big Bang really happened. If so, I can tell you this much if something did blow up a long, long time ago, and made all this the whole world happen, then God was the only witness, and God lit the fuse! He lit the fuse and He didn't run away! God is still with us. He loves us you and he loves me and if you keep reading, I'll prove it to you.
