ENTERTAINING ANGELS - Volume 1

      The book starts out by answering questions that children normally have about God, and how everything got here, and their relationship to the one who created Man in His image and likeness. Included is the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and why they fell. There is a great analysis of the 23rd Psalm, parallels in "real-life" to how Jesus Christ took the punishment for sin in our place, how it doesn't pay to lie, how one sin leads to another, the story of the Prodigal Son, and about the "natural laws" that God ordained. Also included is the true story of Christmas, and why our Lord came to earth, and information about the childhood of Jesus taken from recently-discovered scrolls in the caves at Qumran. 

        Designed to be read to a small child by an adult, the book includes several humorous stories such as "The Lone Ranger Goes camping", "The New Horse" and "The Real Story of Captain Hook". There is also a collection of several poems, and references to other texts. The book is footnoted throughout so that the reader can explore the text more deeply with research from the Bible. Words which are normally not encountered are defined in footnotes, so that a young child reading on his / her own can correctly discern the meaning of the text.
