Paraphilia is then literally "other love" or "unnatural affection". This book defines all of the common, and some not-so-common paraphilias of human sexuality (including those which are crimes). A brief synopsis is given for each of the sexual behaviors, and the author then discusses - sometimes hilariously tongue-in-cheek, how these aberrant behaviors are "treated" by the psychiatry profession. This book is a "must read" for anyone who is sexually mature, and who has, perhaps, encountered such behavior. & The word "paraphilia" comes from the Greek words "para", which means "beside", or "beyond", and "philia" or "phileo", which means "friendship" or "affection". So, sexual paraphilia is literally a sex drive (or 2nd. Dynamic)[1] that is beyond or besides friendship. The Bible says that people who have paraphilias are "covenantbreakers, without natural affection". [2] Paraphilias refer to unconventional behaviors upon which a person's attention is fixed. The engagement in such behavior is perceived as erotic (erotic from the Greek word "Eros" – for sexual love), and therefore a person becomes sexually aroused. Despite the incomprehensibly complex (Freudian) over-analysis of these behaviors and their cataloging according to specific acts, as with all other anomalous[3] "acting-out" behaviors, the cause can be traced back to a valence[4] or an engram.[5] If the reader is at all familiar with the science of Dianetics,[6] he or she will know that a person who has been traumatized in the past, can be affected years later by restimulation of the engram, or can unwittingly assume all or part of another person's persona,[7] thereafter acting in that person's valence or identity. Both of these conditions can occur simultaneously. In fact, multiple engrams can be restimulated simultaneously, with the net effect that the aberration is reinforced and made more severe. As a result, their patient’s problems persist; and rather than being embarrassed by their incompetence, they label their patient's conditions "intractable"[10] and give them psychotropic medications which only suppress the symptoms, and actually make their problems worse.
One can readily see the fallacy of the psychiatric nosology,[11] when one looks at the statistics. However, once one approaches these problems with Dianetics and/or spiritual counseling, the so-called "compulsion" of the person to engage in deviant behaviors of any sort, ceases. Psychology can make no such claim, and indeed, many "top clinicians" consider deviant sexual behavior to be intractable. The APA[12] has long-since
given up on homosexuality, which was listed as a "mental disorder" in their
DSM[13] up until it was voted[14] to be "an alternative lifestyle". · Aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping, conspiracy charges were dismissed against 2 football players identified only as "JP" and "JM" on Nov 3, 2004 in Newark NJ, involving an incident in October.[16] · Clarence Harrison spent 17 years in prison for a rape he did not commit. Sentenced to life in prison in 1987 in Dekalb County, Georgia, he was freed when the Georgia Innocence Project found "[DNA] evidence stashed in an old box". [17] · Vincent Jenkins of Buffalo, NY similar fate (as above) also spent 17 years in prison until DNA technology developed during his incarceration, proved he did not commit the crime. He walked out of prison with an open-shut malicious prosecution case. He forgave his accusers.[18] · Kobe Bryant cleared of sexual assault when witness refused to testify – case dismissed "with prejudice". [19], [20] · Wilton A. Dedge, 42, spent 22 years in a Florida prison for a rape he did not commit. He was released in August 2004. He got no counseling or job referrals, or even a bus ticket home. Florida has no wrongful conviction compensation law, and his legal remedies are limited.[21] · Ernest Willis, 59, was released from a Huntsville, Texas prison after serving 17 years on death row for a crime (a 1986 arson that killed two women) that never happened. Ori White, the Pecos County District Attorney dropped the case on Oct. 5, 2004, saying that the fire was probably an accident – not arson.[22] The mentality of jurors today, is such that in in Louisville, in April of 2000, a jury convicted a (black) man of murder by flipping a coin (a Kennedy half-dollar). Nobody cares, and none of the jurors who went along with the "heads, you win, tails, you lose" decision-making process, were sanctioned for the dereliction of their sworn civic duty. The defendant was remanded for a new trial, and had to endure the same risk of jury corruption all over again.[23] Paraphilias are inflicted upon people by some sort of trauma or emotional conflict – something that was not under the person’s volitional control – in other words; a person does not "choose" to have a paraphilia.[31] Many of the criminal paraphilias such as necrophilia and pedophilia, are the result of such traumas, and thence we have the valid observation that child abuse[32] is a "cycle". Any other theory about how these aberrations come about has been proven wrong by virtue of the fact that when these theories (psychology) are applied to actual cases in the "therapeutic methodology" of the clinical psychologist, the "therapy" not only fails miserably, but it actually makes the patient's condition worse.
The psychiatry profession – what L. Ron Hubbard called "The Merchants of Chaos" would like to perpetuate the myth that mental "disorders" are an increasing problem in the United States, and that only they are qualified to address the problems. Nothing could be further from the truth, and it only takes a bit of research into history to discover that psychiatry has its roots in Darwinian "evolution". It is a shame that as far back as 1948, religious leaders in some churches have been willing to compromise the Word of the living God in order to conform their beliefs to the "science" of Darwinian Evolution.[35] For purposes of illustration in order to set up a valid argument that will be made later, and for the reader's edification, the following is a list and a short description of the major sexual paraphilias. As a Born-Again Christian and Scientologist,[36] I personally do not use these labels to either describe the behaviors, or stigmatize[37] people and neither should you, for reasons that will become clear later. LABELS THE STIGMATA OF SEXUAL BEHAVIOR IN PSYCHIATRY BESTIALITY Having sexual contact or sexual intercourse with an animal. Surprisingly, (to some of us) Bestiality seems to have quite a following – see: www.bestiality.com (I’m not kidding!). Sometimes I wonder about the people at PETA[38] who recently objected to Japanese Sushi bars because (they say) the Sushi fish "is intelligent". My argument is how "intelligent" can a fish be, if it ends up as sushi? [39] J COPROPHILIA Sexual arousal by contact with, or arousal by olfactory[40] stimulation with feces or bodily wastes. Nobody on Fear Factor[41] was ever made to eat shit. (What a turn-on, eh? J). FROTTEURISM This paraphilia is usually confined to men. Frotteurism is a behavior that focuses a person’s sexual urges onto the touching or rubbing of their body against a non-consenting, unfamiliar woman. Usually the male rubs his genitals against the female. Most commonly, the behavior occurs in a crowded public location – such as a subway car, and then he disappears into the crowd of people. Statistically, frotteurism usually begins in adolescence and the abnormal behavior tends to decrease when the man reaches his late twenties. Note: every "normal" male high school student is guilty.☺ GENDER IDENTITY DISORDER The DSM-IV catalog of mental disorders identifies Gender Identity Disorder as a persistent, strong cross-gender identification accompanied with a persistent unease with ones sex. According to the DSM-IV, gender identity disorder can occur in childhood, adolescence, or adulthood. Sexually mature individuals may be heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or may feel little sexual attraction to either men or women.[42] Gender Identity Disorder is often confused with transvestism. KLISMAPHILIA Arousal and gratification by being given an enema,[44] or by insertion of fingers or foreign objects into the rectum. This condition most-often occurs in males, who are stimulated by the pressure of fluids or objects applied to the prostrate gland. KOMOI Sexual arousal (or preference for) by "group sex". The Greek word "komoi" literally means "orgy". MYSOPHILIA Mysophilia comes from the Greek word "mysos" or "defilement". Mysophilia is a paraphilia wherein one achieves sexual arousal by contact with filth, dirt, dust, or an unclean environment. Does "Fear Factor" ring a bell? J PEDOPHILIA Sexual contact or (rarely) sexual intercourse with prepubescent children (of either sex). A pedophile is a person, most frequently a man, who focuses his sexual fantasies and sexual behavior toward children. People who enjoy child pornography or "kiddie porn" are pedophiles.[46] Some pedophiles are sexually attracted only toward children and are not at all attracted to adults. Pedophilia is usually a chronic condition. When a pedophile becomes sexually active with a child he/she may:
· Undress the child or have the child undress while he watches.
TROILISM Sharing a sex partner with another person, while a third party looks on. Usually done with three people, this is commonly called (in French) a "menage' a trois". In Italian, it is called "Cornuto".[50] UROPHILIA Sexual arousal or gratification through urinating on a person, or being urinated upon. aka: "golden shower". VOYEURISM Observing nude (or scantily clad) people, without their knowledge or consent. aka: "peeping tom". The behavior usually concludes with the voyeur masturbating. Voyeurism usually starts in adolescence and tends to persist into adulthood. ZOOPHILIA Sexual arousal / gratification via (usually) non-sexual contact with an animal (such as petting a cat). Zoophiliacs claim that the human/animal relationship goes beyond sexuality, and that they are capable of forming a loving relationship with an animal that can last several years. ZOOSEXUALITY Human/animal sexual interaction. or simply animal sex; the term bestiality is the actual dictionary term, used especially in legal and negative contexts. Zoosexuality is often condemned as animal abuse. Treatment of SEXUAL Paraphilias By the Hick-Farmer Sigmund Freud Wannabes A century ago, some European countries used castration as a means of treating exhibitionism,[51] pedophilia, and other paraphilias that are sexual crimes.[52] In West Germany, psychosurgery, which involved removing the nucleus ventromedialis[53] of the hypothalamus, was the "treatment" for sex offenders. Published reports of these practices rarely provided sufficient information to determine whether this intervention was successful in eliminating the inappropriate sexual behavior.[54] There are serious consequences to performing such extreme and permanent techniques, especially if the person is innocent.[55] They say that SSRIs such as Prozac™ [57] and Luvox™ [58] are effective in reducing paraphilic arousal and may be effective in reorienting arousal to more socially acceptable scenarios.[59] SSRIs are often used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorders.[60] Sex education has been a hallmark of sex therapy since the days of Masters and Johnson.[61] Is it me, or is it just a matter of unfortunate "coincidence" that the start of "sex education" in schools during the 1960’s brought about teenage pregnancy, abortion, and STD’s out of control. Where is the cart and where is the horse in this scenario? Now that we have a list of major categories of sexual deviance, and a brief description of the quackery that proposes to be able to "cure" these problems, the point I wish to make is this: I must ask the question that is begging, here. Is the treatment of each of the paraphilias different: i.e.: is the "therapeutic intervention" prescribed for a necrophiliac much different from the treatment for an exhibitionist? Moreover, not to seem insensitive[62] or sarcastic, but what does psychiatry do with someone who "gets his rocks off" by petting a cat? Furthermore, not-for-nothing, how is such an aberration discovered if the cat can't tell? Is the cat offended? Does such a person turn himself in to a "shrink" one day, saying, "Look, doc, I like to pet cats... I mean, I really dig my neighbor's Siamese long-hair... I mean I really like to pet cats – know what I mean? Know– whaddah mean, huh? – And if they start purring, well, then I really bust a nut. ... Know what I mean, know-whaddah mean, huh?" With such a paraphilia, we can envision a scenario in which your friend comes over to your place one day for a party or something. He then starts petting your puddy-tat,[63] and gets an erection in full view of all your other guests, whereupon you call "the nice young men in the clean white coats",[64] and they gently escort him to the local spinbin.[65] If psychology's therapeutic approach to each of these behaviors is different, then considering that the American Psychiatric Association is highly organized, I would very much like to see a codification[66] of the methodology, let's say (to pick one at random) to treat klismaphilia. Let's see... do we use "Aversion Pairing Therapy" "Reality Therapy" "Direct Therapeutic Exposure", "Logotherapy", "Behavior Modification", "Electro-Convulsive Therapy", "Cognitive Therapy", or its cousin "Associative Cognitive Therapy"?[67] Take your pick – and you might as well, since none of them actually work. However, the dime-store ice pick through the eye socket[68] up into the brainpan[69] always seems to work. Ice picks thrust into the Analyzer[70] and thrashed about the "nucleus ventromedialis" (or whatever you wish to call it), is an effective "cure" for paraphilias, or any aberrant behavior for that matter. Psychology has an unwritten axiom: "Spare the ice pick and spoil the pervert". One can easily see why psychiatrists "hang up"[71] in vastly disproportionate numbers, far above the average of any other profession.[72] Perhaps it is poetic justice for all of the harm they’ve caused – albeit some of them, unwittingly. And don't let those fancy Ph.Ds fool you or impress you – five hundred Ph.D.s were awarded on as many scholarly dissertations on the Piltdown Man fossil, which turned out to be a fraud,[73] and numerous Nobel Peace Prizes have been awarded to terrorists (such as Yassir Arafat),[74] and other genocidal maniacs. The psychiatric "technology" consists of calling a person by the name assigned to his unusual behavior, and then having the person go over the incident over and over, all the while, interjecting false data into the patient's narrative. This false data is, most of the time, the therapist's own opinion, and is called by the clinical terminology "hypothesized cues". Psychiatry sees nothing wrong with this. Believing that he / she has a "disorder", a patient will begin to assume the valence of a person with the characteristics of the diagnosed disorder, possibly as part of an "Ally Computation"[83] for the "therapist". This quickly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy: "That thing of which a person is afraid, she will bring into actuality and existence... [She] starts creating a situation of which she can be afraid because she has to be right... If you validate an illusion, that illusion will take concrete form - that is to say, physical-energy form." [84] - Id at 217, 218 Mace vs. Amestoy, 765 F Supp. 847 (D. Vt., 1991) In this case, a Habeas Corpus petition, a man's term of probation for a "sex crime" was rescinded by his probation officer (he was subsequently imprisoned) for not admitting in a group "therapy" session that he raped his stepdaughter. In court, the girl had testified that her stepfather never raped her, and the girl’s "therapist" had the audacity to say that the girl was lying, and insisted that her stepfather did rape her – talk about "Asserted Rightness"! – However, these people get away with stuff like this all the time in the prisons and in the courtroom because of their "credentials". Do you see the antimony[92] here? On the one hand, the alleged victim is assumed to have told the truth when she disclosed some deminimus offense[93] that may or may not have had sexual mens rea,[94] but she was called a liar in open court when the prosecution had no evidence to prosecute for a more serious offense. In other words, the prosecutor got frustrated when he didn't get the "witch hunt" that he conspired to perpetrate. The strategy of risk management rather than gambling one’s life on a jury’s ability to discern truth from fiction, is certainly understandable in today's society, where a jury of your peers are more likely than not to be closet sexual deviants themselves. A jury’s inability to determine guilt or innocence based on testimony alone – in the absence of any physical (direct) evidence – is legend. Nonetheless, people have been convicted of murder without a Corpus Delecti.[104] As far as the ability of the "finder of fact" [105] or the court to discern the truth, I respond to skeptics who defend the "justice system" by using the following quote: "The final climactic act in the plea-bargaining procedure is a charade which itself has aspects of dishonesty which rival the original crime in many instances. The accused is made to assert publicly, his guilt on a specific crime, which in many cases, he has not committed; in some cases, he pleads guilty to a non-existing crime. He must further indicate that he is entering his plea freely... and that he is not doing so because of any promises... made to him. In plea-bargaining, the accused pleads guilty, whether he is guilty or not, and saves the State the trouble of a trial in return for the promise of a less severe punishment". [106] Let me reemphasize that: A person who is wrong – whether he is the patient or the counselor, will, upon the application of coercion or suppression, assert his position regardless of empirical fact; the assertion of being right quickly becomes divorced from the actual fact of being right or wrong. Scientology calls this phenomenon "Asserted Rightness", and it is easily demonstrated, and Biblically supported, albeit not in such technical language: "But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." – 2 Peter 2:22 (KJV) Asserted Rightness is the core etiology[110] of all criminal recidivism, regardless of the type of offense. The proof of this is the dismal 80% recidivism rate nationally, for crimes across-the-board.[111] Prisoners who have completed any of these psychology-based programs, inevitably come back to prison for "refresher courses". The "up-side" of all this, of course, is a lucrative prison economy, and jobs for any Hick-Farmer Sigmund Freud Wannabe with a heartbeat and a GED.[112] An old high school prank – driving past a group of girls, while the passenger(s) in the car press their bare buttocks against the windows, could hardly be called "sexually-motivated", unless the observers are themselves, so perceptually aberrated that (she) sees ASS, and thinks SEX. In today's society, the boys with their butt-cheeks pressed against the windows have (legally) committed a sex-offense. What, pray tell, is the prescribed therapeutic intervention one can apply to a teen-ager who plays tasteless (but all-in-good-fun) practical jokes? "Sensitivity" classes, perhaps? God forbid! For a youth growing up who is perhaps a bit shy, and perhaps a bit lacking in the social graces, I can think of no more of an effective means to get attention than to "drop trou", and press a bare ass against a window. It is Monty Python-ish,[122] and it is lewd and offensive only in the total absence of a sense of humor. The "offense" in such a case, is in the eye (and the mentality) of the beholder – not that I'm advocating "mooning", mind you; but the only intent[123] on the boy's part in this hypothetical example, was to play an (albeit crude) practical joke, and get attention (which would probably keep those girls in convulsive silly giggles for weeks). When a society looks upon such deminimus[124] things as offenses to be prosecuted, the society is engaging in a collective behavior known to sociologists as "boundary maintenance". This is an attempt by an immoral society to create the apparency of social decency, where in fact, no decency, or very little morality exists. We change the law (Roe v. Wade)[125] in order to make infanticide[126] a "reproductive right", but we arrest a teacher or a loving parent for not "sparing the rod"[127] when discipline is justifiably called for. We permit the cold-blooded, premeditated murder of the most helpless among us, and punish the administration of discipline. Go figure! Boundary Maintenance is a collective statement by the society that "... the murders we commit are not really murders, because we are righteous enough to prosecute much lesser offenses". This is the legacy of the Hick-Farmer Sigmund Freud Wannabes that we've turned loose in our schools and our prisons. All too often, they have contaminated the perceptions of their patients with their "hypothesized cues", and created fact from fiction and vice-versa in the courtroom.[128] The court in Mace v. Amestoy, 765 F. Supp. 847 (D. Vt., 1991) said: "If the State compels a person into therapy, it must provide immunity from prosecution." - Ibid
The court also clarified that a person’s 1st Amendment right to free speech, also includes his right to not speak. His right not to speak is further protected by the
